Research and Planning - Attracting An Audience

If our film were to be a real and intended for public viewing, it would be an independent company production and therefore would have to work harder to create synergy.
Firstly, the magazine would be aimed at teenagers and adults and would ideally be sold in big supermarkets such as Asda, Morrisons or Sainsburys. However, due to independent companies having such tight budgets, it would most likely be sold in smaller newsagents and other stores such as this.
Our trailer could be uploaded to Youtube for no cost other than the time of having to sign up to create a Youtube account, and could be viewed freely by the public this way. I would also expect it to be shown at the opening credits/advertisements in independent cinemas showing films of a similar theme.
The poster I would like to be put up at or around bus stops, as this is often used as a method of transport for young people whom tend not to drive. I would ideally like it to be put up on the outside of a cinema such as Cineworld, however due to the small nature of the film and the unknown actors and places, it is unlikely.
Other independent films such as Monsters (2010) have created a buzz around their film due to free apps for Apple products being created based on them. This would be a good method to use for the trailer as it could be downloaded for free onto their phone or something like ringtones could be downloaded and used.
