I have checked the BBC news website and found weather reports. This will be a help to myself and Lucy when we are filming and taking photos as dry weather and no rain is important for the mise-en-scene, as well as technology - as we are doing the majority of our shooting outdoors.

Research and Planning - Costume and Props List For Poster
I have a choice of two posters, one is set on a plain black background and simply has writing on it. I think it is too simple so I will be using the second design in which has a picture of my main character. I think it would be more appealing to an audience.
Costumes.
Due to the shot type of the photo on the poster being a medium close-up, I will only be needing a top half of the outfit. The model will be wearing a black leather jacket as it is modern and realistic teenage fashion.
The make-up the model will be wearing will be simple and fairly natural. I will be having natural make-up similar to that of what is throughout the trailer as the cast is meant to be seen as just what someone would wear on a day to day basis.
Props.
Because of the shot type of my poster, I will not necessarily need props as you will not be able to see the actors hands or majority of the body. However, I may use some talc powder as a prop of a drug.
Research and Planning - Equipment and Software List For Poster
The software I will be using to complete my poster will include:
DaFont.com to choose and incorporate fonts onto Photoshop.
I will be using Photoshop to create, edit and build the poster up.
I will be using iPhoto to transfer photos off the camera onto the computer.
The equipment I will be using are as follows:
An Apple Mac in which has all the software already on it.
A SLR camera to take the high quality photographs on and upload.
Research and Planning - Costume and Prop List For Magazine
I will be having two main cover stars on my magazine. There will be two main characters featured on it and they will most likely be two female characters.
The costumes I will be using are as follows:
I will be using converse as they are fashionable and seen as an urban, modern type of shoe.
I will be using a plain pair of pants such as black leggings or skinny jeans as they do not seem overly flashy and are fairly plain.
The models will also be wearing something that is quite simple such as a big winter coat.
Much of the above items will also be featured in my trailer. This is because I do not want my characters to seem any different on the trailer to the poster and magazine, as it will make them instantly distinguishable and recognisable.
For my magazine front cover, I shall not be using any props as I will be using a close-up camera shot, therefore the audience will not be able to see the model's hands.
Research and Planning - Equipment and Software List For Magazine
The software I shall be using to create my magazine front cover will be as follows:
I will be using Photoshop to initially build up my magazine and do all the creation of it. I have used Photoshop in my AS year to create my music magazine front cover.
I will be using iPhoto to take the pictures off my SLR camera and put them onto my Apple Mac.
The equipment I will be using are as follows:
I will be using an SLR camera to take high quality photos on. I used this last year and found it to be a powerful, clear camera.
I will be using an Apple Mac to do all of my work on, I have used this sort of computer all throughout my first year of coursework and found them quite easy to use.
Research and Planning - Micro Element Role Research
I have taken on the roles of cinematography and mise-en-scene. Cinematography means the camera work and photography involved in the filming. I will have various tasks that I will have to take care of, for example as I am the one using the camera I will have to ensure lighting is correct in order to get the best quality shot I can. I will have to make sure that scenes are filmed in the correct way of using a tripod and make sure the camera movement is correct so footage isn't shaky. I will have to ensure the camera lens is in full working order and quality.
Below are some screenshots off Wikipedia showing early cinematography use in films.
I have also taken on the role of mise-en-scene, meaning what is seen throughout the trailer to help tell the story. I will be responsible for props in some respects I will have to chose locations carefully based on what is included in them. Also included in mise-en-scene is the design of the set, lighting, stage space, costume and make-up. I will ensure the characters look as natural and realistic as possible. The setting will follow typical social realism theme of being in a council estate and will actors will have to wear. Make-up will be minimal, and lighting will be natural. This will ensure a realistic day-to-day life will be represented.

Research and Planning - Group Meeting
Yesterday myself and Lucy had a group meeting to try and write some of our script, we have written a fair bit, however more work will be need to put into it during next week. We have decided also how Lucy will get to Haughton Green from Hyde and that is most likely she will be getting I lift. I myself live near Haughton Green and it will be just a short walk from my house so getting there will not be a problem. Below I have a screen munch of one of our texts.
